4 c. sliced pared baking apples (about 4 medium)
¾ c. packed brown sugar
½ c. Gold Medal Flour (all-purpose or self-rising)
½ c. oats
¾ tsp cinnamon
¾ tsp nutmeg
1/3 c. margarine, softened
Heat oven to 375°F.
Grease baking pan, 8x8x2 inches. Arrange apples in pan. Mix remaining
ingredients with fork; sprinkle over apples. Bake until apples are tender and
topping is golden brown, about 30 minutes. Serve with ice cream, if desired.
